Bjergsen’s Streaming + Gaming Setup

Bjergsen is a Danish League of Legends professional gamer currently playing for Team SoloMid in the North American LCS. When playing in the NA LCS, Bjergsen is subject to using Riot’s computers, but still brings his Logitech keyboard and mouse with him. When he isn’t on stage, he utilizes the setup below which is a mix of extremely hardcore and surprisingly affordable. While some of it might feel over the top, the build is a perfect example of a minimalistic streaming and gaming setup in one convenient package.

Gaming PC

Custom CyberPowerPC Build

In partnership with TSM, CyberPowerPC built custom gaming rigs for Bjergsen and the other members of Team SoloMid that feature both a gaming PC and streaming PC inside one case. He uses this multi-PC rig for practice and streaming during the week. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7-7700 3.6GHz with a Corsair Hydro Series H60 Liquid Cooling System running off of a GIGABYTE GA-Z270MX-Gaming 5 in a Micro-ATX form-factor; this is a very small setup overall, which is necessary for two systems running in the same case. Each build also features 16GB (8GBx2) of 3000MHz DDR4 RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB, and a  240GB WD Green SSD + 2TB SATA III Hard Drive Combo. Though it’s somewhat of an unusual setup with the dual housing, this is top of the line for streaming League of Legends and very custom.

Monitors

BenQ ZOWIE 24″ 1080p LED Full HD 144Hz Gaming Monitor

Made with esports pros and professional gamers in mind, the BenQ XL2430 is custom-built perfection. With a 1ms response time and an ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate, it’s everything you need to compete at the highest level…which is probably why it’s become a staple with League of Legends pros who want to practice at the highest level. It also features the S Switch, a custom control switch at the base of the monitor which allows the user to easily switch between saved settings, and a variety of input connectors (including D-sub, DVI-DL (Dual Link), HDMI x2, DP1.2, Headphone Jack, and Mic Jack). It’s easily top of the line and a must buy if you’re in the market for a quick, ultra-fast gaming market that’s less about the frills and more about performance.

Headphones, Mice, Keyboards, and Webcams

Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Bjergsen and TSM recently upgraded from the Logitech G533 to the G933, which offers superior comfort, noise cancellation, and better sound quality.  Though most gamers are probably used to gaming in stereo, the G933 offers 7.1 Dolby® Surround to really immerse them in the game, even if it probably doesn’t do too much for League of Legends. They’re able to be used in both wireless and wired mode, though Bjergsen uses them in wired mode for obvious reasons. Most notably, the Logitech G933 offers multi-source audio mixing that allows you to plug in up to three devices to mix in music and external voice communication while gaming — and while most of that can happen internally on your computer through apps like Discord, it’s nice to have options when it comes to input sources.

Logitech G910 Orion Spark RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

From the same partnership with Logitech, Bjergsen also uses the Logitech G910 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, both during his practice streams and during NA LCS — as the players are allowed to bring their own keyboard and mice. Logitech claims this top-of-the-line offering is the fastest RGB mechanical keyboard in the world, so it’s only right that some of the best players in the world would use it. Should you desire to liven up your setup, you can also choose from the keyboard’s assortment of 16.8 million colors to give your keystrokes some flair. Personally, one of the best touches for me is the volume scroll wheel above the number pad; it’s smooth and extremely convenient when it comes to quick adjustments on the fly.

Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse

The Logitech G903 is a gaming mouse sent down from the heavens designed just for the esports pro in all of us. Its configurable button layout and ambidextrous design (which allows for left- or right-handed play) works with nearly any mouse grip style, so you’ll be sure it can work for you. Probably it’s coolest feature lies in the charge-and-play design though, which allows you to use the mouse in both wired and wireless mode, plugging a micro-USB port into the front of the mouse whenever you want to go wired and/or charge the mouse — it’s essentially dual purpose for when you want to game seriously and when you just want to play some games via Steam Link on the couch.

Logitech C922x Pro Stream Webcam

A step up from the extremely popular Logitech C920, the C922X was designed specifically for YouTube and Twitch streamers. With 1080P/30 (720P/60fps) HD video and background replacement service that essentially auto-Chroma Keys out any green screen background you may be using. It’s also designed to accommodate low-lighting situations which means streams should look better than the C920 which didn’t handle low light very well when chroma key-ing. It also comes with a free 6-month license to XSplit, so that itself can be an extreme added value if you were planning on purchasing that anyway.
